Thank you for visiting our Web Site.  Searching for a new church home can become challenging.  To help you at this point in your search, I want to let you know a little about us. 

We exist because Jesus said...

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.“   (Matthew 28.19-20)

We hold high God's Word as the sole authority in all matters of life.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (II Timothy 3:16 - 17)

We want you to know a little about us...

We are a small church and a typical conservative Southern Baptist Church.  Bro. George Riek is currently our Pastor.  Our music is a mix of hymns and praise choruses.  Kevin Wade is our Music Minister and he also serves the youth at this time.  The choir meets at 4:30 on Sundays for practice.  Our youth combines both Middle & High School.  In addition to Sunday School, they have Bible study on Wednesday evenings.  Wednesday is their biggest meeting.  Our children 1st through 6th grade have a wonderful program on Wednesday evenings called Kids on a Mission.  They have fun and learn about missions as well as working on monthly mission projects within our community. 

Sunday School meets at 9:30AM followed at 10:45AM for morning worship.  Sunday evening we meet at 6PM.  Wednesday we have prayer and Bible Study at 6:30PM and are currently studying in the book of 1st John.

Our desire at Orchard Baptist is to reach out to our community and the world with the love of our Lord Jesus.  We hope that God spoke to your heart from this Web Page and that you will choose to worship Jesus with us in our next service.

We are located about 1 1/2 miles North of the Gulf State Fair Grounds at 6960 Overlook Rd (Overlook ends at Howells Ferry Rd close to Cody Rd).
