We have a wide variety of backgrounds here at Orchard ranging from those raised in the church to those who are brand new to Christianity. Either way, we all have a hunger and passion for learning more about our Savior. No one is turned away from our fellowship No matter age, race, background, or reason that you can think of. We are here for you!

Our Worship Ministry strives to accomplish what every church should: To lead the people of God to a place where they experience genuine worship through the Holy Spirit. Our services are a blended style of worship, praising our God with songs from both the past and the present.

 

Orchard Baptist’s Ladies Ministry is comprised of women who desire to build their relationship with Christ and to be equipped to serve in the body of Christ and in their community for the Glory of God.

We do this by offering Bible studies and special events that nourish spiritual growth and fellowship and by encouraging women of all ages and walks of life to building relationships within the body of Christ.

 

The Watchmen is our Men’s Ministry. The Watchmen are diverse. We have men from all different professions and walks of life. Each addition brings a better perspective as a whole. We would love for you to get plugged in! We enjoy finding ways to to do the following:

  • Find service projects to work on in the surrounding area
  • Meet needs both at the church AND in our surrounding area
  • Meet regularly together. Whether that’s to meet for dinner as we Hold The Rope, have breakfast and Bible Study on Saturday morning, or Bible Study Group each Sunday morning.

 

Young At Heart, our Senior Adult Ministry, is very active. If you watch the “Antiques Roadshow” on TV, you soon learn that the older something is the more valuable it becomes. There is no exact age when a person becomes a “senior.” Some say 55 or 60 and others, 62. We say if you visit our group and are blessed by your experience, you are welcome!
 

Our Student Ministries are all about growing stronger in Christ and deepening our relationship with him. We also have a lot of fun while doing it! Ultimately our goal is to live like Jesus in such a way that He is seen within us on a daily basis. We want to have a hunger for God’s word and instill his word within our hearts. We want to be bold for Christ not in just how we talk, but also in how we act, making a difference in our homes, schools, and churches. The OBC Student Ministry is headed by Bro. Tim Hackett & his wife Becky.  We have many activities throughout the year.  Youth Camp, various fund raisers, service activities in and around our community.  We love the Lord and sharing His love with everyone around us. 

 

Our Children’s Ministry is ready for your child to join in the excitement! The children’s department is geared to present God’s word to the children in a way they can understand and grow in their relationship with the Lord. Our goal is to partner with parents to make sure each child is growing spiritually and then equipped to be a light in their communities even at a young age. The OBC Children’s Ministry is currently headed by Mrs. Brenda Kruse and a dedicated staff of teachers who have a passion for reaching children for Christ. We have many activities throughout the year.  Boys Camp and Girls Camp, various fund raisers, service activities in and around our community.
 
Our desire at Orchard Baptist is to reach out to our community and the world with the love of our Lord Jesus.  We hope that God spoke to your heart and that you will choose to worship Jesus with us.
