In this world there is a battle for your soul and the two combatants are Satan and Jesus
This is a winner take ALL battle
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.(NASB)
for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.(NASB)
For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have long been dead.(NASB)
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.(NASB)
For the sake of Your name, O LORD, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.(NASB)
Understand this battle is going on and has been since the beginning

Like all battles, there are casualties and, in this case, souls will be lost

Some may think, “I am not strong enough for this battle”
There is one last verse I want to share with all of us who are weary
“Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (NASB)
